Brand It With A Bracelet

“It takes the fun out of a bracelet if you have to buy it yourself” was a quote I found out reading an article few days back. I rather felt it was rather true, if diamonds are the girl’s best friend then a diamond studded bracelet can be their soul mate, but the worst enemy of a man who has to pay for it.

This should not dishearten you, if all bracelets cannot be diamonds, it can be zircons and if not a best friend but can be a very good friend indeed. You can work miracles in your dress with these tiny pieces of metal and studded bracelets.

Get on with these bracelets and definitely be a hit this summer.

Brass Metal Bracelet: These brass metal bracelets is the one you would love owning, the exquisite laser cut metal detailing on the bracelet will give you more of a classy-ethnic look. Accessorize it with a long crepe skirt or a georgette saree, or any of your ethnic wear to give a perfect “Desi” look. You need not be over accessorized, avoid being too tacky, stick to one or two types of accessories at a time. You would never want to look too loud.

Zircon Metal Bracelet: Zircons are on! It is quite popular among the crowd, with its low cost and incredible shine makes you feel not less than diamonds. These bracelets has a more metallic appeal to it, and looks good when teamed up with your little black dress or a gown. This is sure to outshine you among all and give a feel of being on a red carpet. For a perfect evening look wear a peplum dress, slip on a peep toe, and carry a shimmering sequin clutch and put on a zircon bracelet and leave your spectators amazed. Try the look this weekend you will love it for sure!

Beads and Charm Bracelet: Perfect for all age group, these beads and charm bracelets are sure to add the feminine look you desire. These bracelets are generally adjustable or stretchable and very comfortable to wear and pretty much matches with any dress or casuals you put on. Glow In The Sun

It's summer and yes, the sun is scorching at such a level that it could rip off your skin and leave it all blemished and dead. Sometimes even the highest SPF content sun block lotions can’t help you much. The UV rays the sun produces especially in summers penetrate the deepest layers of skin and damages the collagen which is the spongy protein that gives skin its structure, firmness, and elasticity. So, you can imagine how much damage it can do to our skin. But fret not; we are here to help you get through the summer without getting even an inch of your skin damaged.

First step is to keep you refreshed. Stay hydrated most of the time. If you tire of drinking water all day long, eat fruits that have a substantial amount of water to keep you hydrated. Watermelon would be the best option. It’s delicious, refreshing and contains a considerably good amount of water.

Eating the right food: The scorching weather can leave your taste buds bland and you might not have much appetite but you’ve got to eat. Eat foods that are healthy and packed with loads of antioxidants. They do wonder for your skin. Opt for foods like yoghurt, green veggies, green tea, fresh fruits, whole grains, fish etc. Just include these foods in your diet and you’re sure to keep your skin protected and radiant at the same time.

Exercising: A light workout daily to sweat it out is an ideal way to getting a super clear and good skin. You need not hit the machines if you’re already in shape. You can do brisk walking, skipping or jog for a while. The trick is to get your sweat out. This will not only keep your skin healthy but keep you in shape and slow down the process of ageing.
Natural home treatments: There are so many home remedies to treat your skin. You can mix a lot of things to create a face pack.  You can even use some fruits to make it. Lemon is supposed to be an essential item to keep you glowing.  Honey mixed with cucumber juice also work wonder. Use your ideas and try the home therapies instead of spending your money going to the salons. It’s almost the same treatment; in fact natural home remedies are healthier and better.

Choosing the right sun block lotion: With plenty of cosmetics available in the market, it’s difficult to choose the right type for your skin. Select according to your skin type, non-greasy for the oily skin, moisturizer for the dry skin type and for normal, use anything. Now what’s important is the SPF content. If you’re stepping out in the peak afternoon when the sun is sweltering at a boiling point, use high level of SPF, 70 should do. Otherwis, use 20 to 50 for a normal temperature. What we personally recommend is coconut and mango scented lotion with a range of 40 to 60 SPF. Nothing spells summer more than a light refreshing fruity lotion.  The mistake most people make is -- you think you’ve applied a sunscreen once and it’s going to work the whole day. Well, you’re wrong. You need to reapply every time you step out because the heat wears off the lotion easily.
Summer Make-up: Nothing loud and nothing shiny.  Keep your make-up understated and use a proper summer-suited make-up kit. Imagine your face foundation turning all greasy and your eye make-up smudging and all over the place. You definitely want to avoid that, right? So choose wisely. We personally recommend L’Oreal products as they are sure to keep your face intact and at the same time give you that summer glow.

If you’re sure to incorporate these tutorials in your daily regime, expect a bright, healthy skin in no time.

Back To The 80's

The controversial 80’s fashion seems to demand attention this season.  Though shoulder pads and batwing sleeves are already out of the current fashion scenario, there are still some of 80’s remains that’s making fashionistas’ heart go pitter patter in delight. Mini skirts are one of them.  Then, wayfarer sunglasses, laces, neons, leggings, crop tops, over-sized tops and stone-washed denims to name a few.

Many have argued that fashion in the 80’s was too big, too loud and just plain too much but isn’t that what we dig for right now? Well, not completely but we could take some cues from there and try and reinvent a ’80s classic to look fresh and modern. So let’s take a trip down memory lane to review some of the biggest ’80s trends and see how they’ve influenced the style of 2013.

Neons: Many trendsetters are loving neons this season. Though in the 80’s neons were adorned in the most excessive and bold way, the modern take on neons are flatteringly apposite and have been given a fresh trendy twist to it.
Miniskirts: The concept then was “the shorter the better”. Well, the concept is still the same only patterns and silhouettes have been upgraded. Every woman of that era and the current era loves miniskirts. Even if some are not comfortable wearing solely the miniskirt, they wore it with tights or leggings underneath it.

Crop Tops: Denims and crop tops were a big thing back then and they are going to be a big thing too, this season. This is a look that screams sexy and feminine and at the same time bold and fierce.

Wayfarer sunglasses: A classic staple piece, wayfarers were the de facto sunglasses of choice for anyone and everyone who was cool in the '80s. Wayfarers are among the trendiest accessories of this season. They are classy, super trendy and highly sophisticated.
Leggings: Women loved to pull off the dance wear look with leggings. And, dancewear is making a comeback this season. Think Jane Fonda in the 80’s, how she rocked the dancewear look. Throw in a over-sized top and team up with your leggings.

Overalls: They are making it back with a bang. Overalls were the most worn and wanted items in the 80’s. Almost everybody wore it, kids, women, men, grannies, uncles etc. They are very casual and comfortable and also give a very trendy outlook especially the ones that have been designed for this season.

Well, we hope these remains of the 80’s served a nostalgic blast from the past and a friendly reminder that they are still stuck on the current fashion radar and are here to stay around longer.

Swim With A Sway

With temperature soaring at an unbearable height, almost everyone is looking for a getaway or a vacation. For the stylish lot, nothing could be a better spot to beat the heat than a beach or a pool. Lucky if you’re going to be hitting the beach, otherwise even if you’re planning to hang out by the pool, make sure you’re on trend. Whether you’re soaking up the sun by the beach or out for a pool party, the most important thing won’t be the SPF on your sunscreen lotion, but which swimwear you’ll be wearing. Your last season’s bikinis and swimsuits won’t do much to put you on a trendy quotient. We think they were a tad bit dull with very little novelty to offer. This season’s collection has much more weight in terms of cuts, designs and colours. We have listed out the latest swimwear trends to keep you in vogue for this hot season.

Greek Goddess Style Bikinis: What can be sexier than the twists, drapes and knots style bikinis? They will give off a sexy, sultry and a Grecian Goddess vibe. They can also add volume in places you need it helping to shape your figure in flattering ways. And, though Greek Goddess is mainly about whites and gold, it’s totally okay to go bright and colourful on the swimwears. Explore deep reds, rich vibrant oranges, or soft pastels.

Cut-Out Swimsuits: With amazing cut-out detailing combined with exotic prints, the cut-out style swimsuit is becoming a rage this season. Many fashion fanatics and trendsetters have revealed that this style is the hottest piece in the swimwear range. We think the best part about cut-outs is that they show just the right amount of skin to remind you that you don’t need a two-piece be hot.

Digital Print Swimwears: Amongst this season’s latest swimwear trend, unusual prints are also making its way on the list. The most popular digital prints include mostly soft florals, animals, cityscapes and even abstract patterns. They are fun, wild, flirty and tremendously stylish to look at. So don’t be afraid to push your limits and go with a landscape or an animal print on your bikini or one-piece this summer.

Mismatched Two-Pieces: Well, for this one you don’t really need to buy a new bikini top or bottoms. Find the best you have from last season’s and try to mismatch them. If required, you could buy a nice bandeau style bikini top and pair with a contrast bikini bottoms, or vice versa. Mismatched bikini tops and bottoms can be a great way to create a playful, abstract look.
